For planners, venues, writers and anyone people ask for advice when they're hosting something: a wedding, a party, a work do. You give them 10% off with your own code, and you get 20% of what they pay for six months.

2. Step 2
   Get your code

   Once approved, your code arrives by email, something like ROSE10, with your own link. Anyone who arrives by your link gets 10% off at checkout without typing a thing; the code works typed in too. The Albums you share do the same: anyone who creates their own event from one of them counts as yours.

3. Step 3
   Get paid monthly

   You earn 20% of everything that host pays for six months, paid monthly once you're owed $26 or more: we email you the total and you send us an invoice for it.

What it's worth

An event for up to 100 guests, with 20 photos each and video, is $55.47. With your code the host pays $49.92, and you get $9.98. If they pay for another event within six months, you get 20% of that too.

That's in US dollars, which is what hosts near you pay. hazel prices in pounds, US, Canadian and Australian dollars and euros by where the host is, and you choose which of those you're paid in.

Partner terms

• Your code gives a new host 10% off their first event. You earn 20% of every payment that host makes in the six months after they first use it, including any other events they pay for in that time.
• A payment counts once it is 30 days old, so refunds come out first. At the start of each month, if you're owed $26 or more, we email you the total; send us an invoice for it and we pay by bank transfer. Anything under $26 carries over.
• Say it's your code when you share it (for example "I get a thank-you if you use my code"), in line with the ASA and CMA rules on recommendations.
• Share your code anywhere you like: your website, socials, newsletters, coupon and voucher sites. The only limits: no paid search ads on the word hazel or hazel.camera, no spam, and no pretending to be hazel.
• Your own events don't earn anything, and a host can only belong to one partner: the first code they use.
• Your bank details only go on the invoices you send us, and we use them for nothing but paying you. You're responsible for any tax on what you earn.
• We can close a code that breaks these terms, and anything earned through breaking them isn't paid. Either of us can end the arrangement by email; what you've already earned under these terms is still paid.
