A Once alternative

hazel vs Once.

Once: A private photo-sharing app that reveals everyone's photos together after the day.

The short answer

Both collect your guests' photos by QR code with nothing to download. Once works like a roll of film: each shot goes straight in, and everyone's photos are revealed together, straight away or after a delay you set. hazel sends them to you first: you switch off anything that shouldn't be shared, then every guest is emailed the Album. hazel's prices show in your own currency; Once's are in US dollars.

Choosing for a wedding? How to collect every guest's photos walks through the day, and wedding photo bingo keeps the photos coming.

What's different

Guests add from their camera roll or take a photo or clip on the spot, and see it before it uploads.
You see everything first and switch off what shouldn't be shared. Once reveals everything to everyone.
Every guest is emailed the Album. You get two links: one to download from, one view-only for people who weren't there.
Invite by email as well as QR code, and each invitee gets an email.
Anyone in a photo can have it taken down, and any photo can be reported.
Prices shown and charged in your own currency: pounds, US, Canadian or Australian dollars, or euros. Once prices in US dollars.
Business events: your logo on the pages and emails, a private Album if you want one, and each guest's consent to use their photos, recorded when they join.
